PERILS appoints Takashi Goda as Senior Advisor for Japan

PERILS, the independent Zurich-based organisation providing industry-wide catastrophe insurance data, has today announced the appointment of Takashi Goda as Senior Advisor for Japan.

Based in Tokyo, Mr Goda will work closely with the PERILS team and the local insurance industry supporting the expansion of PERILS services into the Japanese market. He has commenced his Senior Advisory role effective 1 September 2019.

Mr Goda is a highly experienced insurance executive, having previously worked with Swiss Re for 18 years and in the broking industry prior to this. Throughout his career he has held various senior positions and was previously Head of Japan for Swiss Re and a Member of the Asia Management Team until his retirement in 2014. Since then, Mr Goda has completed further studies at LSE London and currently holds various advisory and teaching positions in Japan.
